Do not search category/manufacturer when results count is 0

Hi.
It's great that JP VM Ajax Search can search for products/categories/manufacturers, but sometimes I need product search only. When I set the results count of categories/manufacturers to 0, the extension still shows the corresponding search result block with 0 result.
I think when it's 0, it shouldn't display the block and even shouldn't perform the search for performance reasons.
