JP Mega Menu - Joomla®

JP Mega Menu is a specially designed plugin to create beautiful, dynamic and super functional menu's for YOOtheme Pro websites. By using the YOOtheme Builder module you can create large mega menu's which enclosed dynamic content and any type of builder elements.

How to install :

• Download the latest “JP Mega Menu” package from “JP Mega Menu” product page.

• Install the downloaded zip file package using the Extension Manager menu in the administrator section of your website (like you install any other extension for Joomla)
• After JP Mega Menu successfully installed check whether the plugin is enabled .
• From the main joomla menu click “Extensions -> Plugins”. Use the Search or Filter feature to find the installed plugin, and then click on the plugin.

Builder Module Configuration :

• Create a new module from the "Module Manager" of module type "Builder"

• Click "Open Builder" option in the newly created builder module.

• Then click "Builder" in the yootheme PRO builder alongside newly created builder module.

• Create the contents of the menu as per your requirements using the builder elements and dynamic content sources.

• open "YOOtheme" website builder inside the Joomla admin .
• Go to "Settings -> Advanced -> Clear Cache"

JP Mega Menu Configuration :

• Once created the builder module create a new menu of type "JP Mega Menu".

• Then select the newly created builder module to assign the module to the menu.

Header Layout Configuration :

• Important Configuration to "JP Mega Menu" is under site layout header settings.
• Open "YOOtheme" website builder inside the Joomla admin and then select "Layout" .

• Then select "Header" section to configure "Dropdown" alignment and "Dropbar" style .

• Set the "Dropdown" alignment as "Center" and "Dropbar" style as "Slide or Push".

• If you want a full width dropdown then set the dropdown width as "Justify dropdown" under "NAVBAR ITEMS -> Edit Items".
• Once finished all the settings , Click "Save layout" and "Close" the website builder.

Mobile Layout Configuration :

• To get the wider menu in mobile view configuration to "JP Mega Menu" is under site layout mobile settings.
• Open "YOOtheme" website builder inside the Joomla admin and then select "Layout" .

• Then select "Mobile" section to configure "Menu Animation" style .

• Set the "Menu Animation" style as "Dropdown or Modal" and "Dropdown Animation" as "Slide or Push".
• Once finished all the settings , Click "Save layout" and "Close" the website builder.

• Have a look our super amazed "JP Mega Menu" output.

• open "YOOtheme" website builder inside the Joomla admin .
• Go to "Settings -> Advanced -> Clear Cache"

JP Menu Module :

• JP Menu Module is used to set the active menu items as defined in joomla in any section of your site.
• To create a JP Menu module, add a new module from the "Module Manager" of module type "JP Menu"

• To create a JP Menu module, add a new module from the "Module Manager" of module type "JP Menu"

• Select the Menu in which you want to integrate into this
• Select the menu item under "Base Item" which is used as a base item for the menu display. If Current is selected, the active item is used as the base. This causes the module to only display when the parent menu item is active.

• Set the Columns, Start Level , End Level settings. You must set the Start Level to the same level or higher than the level of the base item.
• Once finished all the settings , Click "Save & Close" to save the module.

• Once JP menu module was created you can use this in any section of your site.
• Module element allows you to select an existing Joomla module and render it anywhere in your layout.
• You can also used this in builder module configuration as described above
