Config for searchable fields

It would be great to set the searchable fields for the products. For example, I don't need product_s_desc and product_desc, but I do need the SKU and MPN

As far as I can see, JP VM Ajax Search searches in product_name, product_s_desc and product_desc

I don't want to search in product_s_desc and product_desc but I search for product_sku a lot

Thank you for your detailed explanation. We will look into adding settings for searchable items. For your information, the product SKU is also one of the search criteria, so it will show results if found in the SKU as well.
