Using category path or alias as dynamic content

I have a site where I use a 2-level category system. The products belong to multiple categories.
I added a button element, used Custom PC Product details as dynamic content, and PC Product categories as the source for multiple items.
Using this, I can easily build a list of buttons that lead to the corresponding categories. However, sometimes on the second level, I have multiple categories with the same name, like:
Office products - Chairs
Home products - ChairsWhen a chair fits both office and home, I get two buttons with the label 'chairs' but with different links.
In this case, it would be great to have the category path, maybe with an option to set the separator character.
It would also be great to have a category alias as well.

Thank you for your request. To investigate this further, we would need a clone of the site that demonstrates the scenario you described.

I duplicated the button element and got this error
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare JPPCDynmic\Source\PCProduct\getCategoryPath() (previously declared in /plugins/system/pcuikit_override/dynamic/Source/PCProduct/PCProductType.php:1004) in /plugins/system/pcuikit_override/dynamic/Source/PCProduct/PCProductType.php on line 1004

Category Path is very cool. I have a suggestion: the separator character is always '/'.
Would it be possible to make it configurable?
When the category already contains '/', I would prefer to use '>' or even double it: '>>'.
For example: Office products >> Chairs/Benches/Thrones
Or maybe an icon? Chevron?

Hi
We have resolved the issue with the duplicate element in the category path dynamic content source, and it is now working correctly. We will consider adding a configuration setting for the separator character and include this in future versions. Thank you.
